Our Partners
Our aim is supporting communities and partners which share our vision to build a better future by envisioning a sustainable built environment. Building Resilience Australia deliver services in collaboration with the James Cook University (JCU), Cyclone Testing Station (CTS), with the mutual aim to increase the resilience of properties to the effects of future server weather events and cyclones.
Founded in response to the destruction caused by cyclone Althea to Townsville in 1971 and cyclone Tracy to Darwin in 1974, James Cook University, Cyclone Testing Station is strategically located in Townsville enabling it to serve not only Australia and North Queensland but also most other impacted regions. The JCU CTS facility features a state-of-the-art wind tunnel and has earned an international reputation as leaders in the field.
